Terms of service
These terms apply between you and Agolith, based in the Netherlands, when you use Eruptian: the website, the Shopify app and the browser extension.
What Eruptian does
Eruptian imports product information into your Shopify store, rewrites it using the AI provider whose key you supply, and adds storefront features such as size charts, bundle deals and a cart drawer. You keep control of what is published: nothing reaches your storefront that you did not put there.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials to yourself. You must be old enough to enter a contract and be authorised to act for the store you connect.
Your AI key, your bill
Eruptian runs on your own key from the AI provider you pick — Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, OpenRouter or Moonshot. What that provider charges you is between you and them, and the provider’s terms apply to those calls. We do not mark up, resell or subsidise them.
What you import is your responsibility
Eruptian can fetch product information from public web pages, including other shops. Whether you may use a given text, photograph or brand name is a question about that material, not about our tool. You confirm that you have the right to use what you import, and you carry the consequences if you do not. We may refuse or stop a request that appears unlawful.
What AI writes is a draft
Rewritten descriptions and extracted size charts are generated text. They can be wrong, and product claims in particular can be wrong in ways that matter legally. Read them before you publish. You are the publisher of everything that ends up in your store.
Fair use
Use of the service is subject to reasonable limits, so that one account cannot degrade the service for others. Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the service, and do not use it to collect personal data or to bypass another site’s technical protections.
Availability
We aim to keep Eruptian running and to fix what breaks, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Shopify and the AI provider you picked are outside our control, and when they are unavailable, parts of Eruptian will be too.
Liability
Eruptian is provided as is, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or lost sales, or for data you had no copy of. Where we are liable, that liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
Ending it
You may stop at any time by uninstalling the app or deleting your account; products already in your store stay yours. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and will say why unless the law prevents us.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and we will notify you of material changes by email. Continuing to use Eruptian after a change means you accept it.
Which law
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer rules give you another forum.
